Duddingston Arms - Outside Bar Hire

Be it a wedding, a party, a private event or corporate function we can provide a fully serviced mobile bar to your chosen location.
We provide a complete mobile bar service. We will deliver and set up the bars, have them stocked with a range of premium beer, wine, spirits and soft drinks and run the bars with fully trained, uniformed and insured professional waiting staff. If fact just like the service we provide within the Duddingston Arms but anywhere throughout Edinburgh and Central Scotland.

Our service includes:
Full arrangement of any required licence
Highly experienced smartly uniformed bartenders and waiting staff
Bespoke drinks menu with your favourite beers, wines and spirits
Full bar service with draught products, cask ales, ice and refrigeration.
Clear up during and after the event and the removal of glass and plastic for recycling

Established since 1997 our mobile bar service reflects the many years experience gained in the hospitality industry at every type of event to bring to you your favourite country pub in a car.
We pride ourselves in providing an individual bespoke service to everyone. As all events are unique we match our service to our customers requirements however below we detail examples of options we have provided in the past.

Paying Bar:
A complete bar service stocked with a large variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks with experienced professional and friendly staff where your guests pay for their drinks as they order them. This is just like being at any pub in the land only we bring it to you.

Pre Pay Bar:
As above but you have set aside a "tab" behind the bar. This allows your guests free drinks up to a pre arranged cash amount. When this money runs out we then revert to a paying bar.

Free Bar:
As a paying bar but fully pre paid, we do not charge for the drinks. This package ensures that your guests don't have to reach for their wallets ensuring a great night is had by all.

Charity Event Bar:
As a paying bar but we will donate 50% of the bar profits to your event and no cash deposit is required (we limit these events throughout the year so you may need to book well in advance)

At Duddingston Arms we always personalise your special event with our individual bespoke service so before we accept any order for an outside bar we will always meet up to discuss your requirements.

Summary of our business terms for bar hire.
The minimum number of guests at which we offer our paying bar service is 100.
We must be the sole supplier of all drinks at any licensed event.
We require at least 6 weeks notice if your event is to be licensed (pay bars)
A non-refundable deposit of £100 + vat is required to confirm and hold the date of your booking
The hire charge (normally £350 + vat) and any pre pay deposit must be paid 30 days before your event.
Final numbers and any outstanding hire charges (pre pay bar) should be paid 14 days prior to the event
All our events use plastic glassware should you require glasses then a supply of water must be provided and additional hire charges apply.
We always reserve the right to discontinue/stop our bar service should our staff face disruptive or irresponsible behaviour.

Wines
Duddingston Arms can provide a wide selection of wines and champagnes. Bar sales of wine by the glass are charged at £2.50, while 75cl bottles are charged at £10.00 each. Please note that if you would like to supply your own wine for consumption during a meal, we will provide glassware and refrigeration, and serve the wine for a corkage fee of £5.00 per bottle.
